It has been a long standing tradition for Southern Serenity Ranch and the Howard Hamilton Family to host a summer horse riding camp for youngsters that love horses. During the four-day event, campers learn to ride, care for and love horses. They also enjoy swimming, fashion shows, arts and crafts, relay races, scavenger hunts and much more. 

On Monday, June 17, 2024, Dr. Matt Cole from the Huntington Animal Clinic stopped by Southern Serenity Ranch and gave the campers a chance to ask him questions about being a veterinarian as well as caring for horses. The camp ends with a horse show where the campers can show off everything they have learned during their time at Southern Serenity Ranch.
