The Historic Celebration Grounds were part of a "Plantation and Horse Country" tour conducted by Sugar Tours of West Dover, Vermont. The group of nearly 50, affiliated with Elderhostel, Inc., were shown around the Grounds and viewed a highlight video from a recent Celebration. In addition, they spent a good bit of time in Calsonic Arena for a question and answer period.
Besides the stop at The Celebration, the group's itinerary had a stop planned at Clearview Farm in Shelbyville for a demonstration and discussion period, lunch at the Strolling Jim Restaurant inside the Walking Horse Hotel, the distillery tour at Jack Daniel's and time for shopping around the square in Lynchburg.
The folks on the tour were from all across the United States.
