The Walking Horse Owners' Association is pleased to announce that a new scholarship will be presented at this year's International Grand Championships. This scholarship will be presented in honor and remembrance of Gilbert and Evelyn Miller, longtime breeders, owners, and exhibitors’ of Tennessee Walking Horses and founding members of the Walking Horse Owners' Association.

Winners in each of the following classes will be awarded a $500 Gilbert and Evelyn Miller Scholarship:

Class 95. WHOA Academy Championship 17 & Under, English or Western.
Class 223. Classic/Trail Pleasure Championship, Youth 17 Under, English or Western.
Class 237. Classic/Country Pleasure Championship, Youth 17 & Under, English or Western
Class 246. Classic/All Day Pleasure Championship, Youth 17 & Under, English or Western
Class 260. Spotted Saddle Horse Championship, Amateur/Youth (if youth rider should win)
The WHOA Overall High Pint Youth Rider will also receive a scholarship.

Winners will receive a Gilbert and Evelyn Miller Scholarship trophy and a scholarship certificate. The scholarship award will be paid upon enrollment to the college, university, or technical school of the recipient's choice.
