8/8/1946 – 6/8/2023

Jeri Sue Arrighi was trained in Equitation on five-gaited horses very early in life. She bought her first Tennessee Walking Horse as a teenager and owned them close to 60 years. She rode Tennessee Walking Horses on the trail and showed performance horses in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and, of course, Tennessee.

Jeri Sue had degrees in Animal Sciences and Farm Management from McNeese University. She had a Masters in Veterinarian Physiology from Texas A&M. While her career was in the oil and gas industry, her love was always Tennessee Walking Horses. While living in Texas she represented that state in the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitor Association.

She loved researching breeding lines to select stallions to match with the right mares.  Her Four Seasons Farm produced some top shelf show horses including; Doral, My Rock Star, Entitled to a Secret, She’s a Secret Lineman, Stronger, Dixie Preacher, Lady Ties the Blues and others.

She is survived by her husband Kevin Arrighi and many close friends in the Walking Horse community.  We all will miss you.
