TWHBEA Benefits From Past Presidents' Meeting

Lewisburg, TN - In what was surely a meeting of the minds, the current and several past Presidents, as well as the current Executive Director, of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) met the evening of January 5, 2012 to discuss the state of the Association and the industry. Much was learned as these knowledgeable and experienced men reminisced and exchanged ideas.
The meeting was held at Sperry’s Restaurant in Cool Springs, Tennessee, and those attending included President Marty Irby, Executive Director Ron Thomas and past Presidents Charles Bobo, Walt Chism, Charles Gleghorn, Bill Harlin, Jerrold Pedigo, Steve Smith, Robert Thomas and Jim Welch.

WHOA Delivers Aid to Hurricane Helene Victims in North Carolina! On February 14, 2025 WHOA delivered a semi truck load of horse products to North Carolina hurricane victims. Another semi truck load of hay was delivered to the same area on March 1, 2025.

The show season will soon be here! Again, this year TWHBEA is administering the show cards that will be required by shows affiliated with American Horse Services (AHS) and S.H.O.W. H.I.O. Proceeds from the sale of the Exhibitor and Horse cards will again help fund the industry’s ongoing legal efforts.
