WHOA Welcomes Another New Team Member

For the second time in under a month, the Walking Horse Owners’ Association (WHOA) is happy to welcome a new team member.

Graphic Designer Desiree Campbell will be assisting the Association on a freelance basis with marketing materials and the new e-magazine Walking On. Formerly with

Voice Magazine, Desiree brings a familiarity with the breed and several years of industry experience to WHOA.

Luncheon planned for horse show organizers
The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) and the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) are hosting a luncheon for all show managers on February 15, 2025. The luncheon will be held in conjunction with the WHTA Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet, held at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, Tennessee. William Leon Elliott, age 84, of Tuscumbia AL, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at his residence. Leon was born April 27, 1940, in Spruce Pine, AL to Julian and Cleo Elliott. He worked his whole life at Muscle Shoals Mack Truck Center as a diesel mechanic. Read More
