A benefit will be held for Brenda Upton of Shelbyville, Tenn. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 6:00PM at the Championship Arena on the Celebration grounds in Shelbyville. Jerry Sumner and Mike Graves will be on hand preparing BBQ with all the fixings for a donation. Bring a special cake or come to bid on one in the "Homemade Cake Live Auction". Music and entertainment are scheduled for the night. Those in attendance are asked to not bring alcohol on the premises. William Leon Elliott, age 84, of Tuscumbia AL, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at his residence. Leon was born April 27, 1940, in Spruce Pine, AL to Julian and Cleo Elliott. He worked his whole life at Muscle Shoals Mack Truck Center as a diesel mechanic.
