Roy Clinton White, 71, passed away Feb. 19, 2004, at his residence.
White was a native of Maury County, Tennessee and was the son of the late Marvin E. White and Effie Lee Priest White. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. White was a retired shift supervisor for Sportex Corporation and was a member of the Garymere Church of Christ.
White was also a member of the Maury County Horsemen’s Association and served as the Chairman of the Maury County Horse Show, which benefits Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
White was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Mullins. He is survived by two, daughters, Sheila Anne White of Nashville, Tenn., and Pam White (Jay) Lawrence of Los Angeles, Calif., and several cousins.
Graveside services were conducted Feb. 22, 2004, at Polk Memorial Gardens with John Vaughn officiating. Military honors were provided by Herbert Griffin of American Legion Post #19.
