David Landrum Stables and the Tennessee Farm Bureau hosted a group from the American Hereford Association. James Roberts of Farm Bureau and John Woolfolk, President of the American Hereford Association were on hand to coordinate the event. Those attending were given a history of the breed and economic the impact of the industry. David Landrum followed by describing conformation, gaits, and the day-to-day activities of a training operation. Jeff Laughlin rode Music City Jass, owned by Laura Brandon, followed by Tim Smith on I’m Pushin N Line, owned by Joe and Janice Fostek. Both horses flawlessly and impressed the crowd. A question and answer session followed.
