The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has released the schedule for the 85th Annual Celebration. Classes begin on Wednesday morning, August 23rd and include 15 sessions that culminate on Saturday, September 2nd. The class sheet includes 200 classes in total which will increase with any classes that are split after the entry deadline.
The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) will once again have their Futurity classes as part of the Celebration schedule and mixed in the class sheet. The Futurity made the change from having a separate night last year and the move was met with increased entries.
The Wednesday evening, August 23rd session will be held outdoors in Celebration Arena instead of being held inside Cooper Steel Arena this year. The 11th night outside in the big oval is a first for The Celebration. Cooper Steel Arena, which is being renovated as part of its name change, will host all morning sessions. The class sheet has 46 World Grand Championship classes in 2023.
